General Information

The Samadhi International Buddhist and Cultural Centre (SIBCC) is a non-profit organization based in Sri Lanka. We are dedicated to promoting humanity, cultural understanding, and spiritual growth through welfare services, volunteer programs, and cultural initiatives. Our work is inspired by Buddhist principles and aims to create a more compassionate and connected world.

SIBCC was founded in 2000 by Ven. Dr. Delthara Senananda with the vision of uplifting underprivileged communities and preserving Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage.

Our mission is to empower communities through sustainable welfare initiatives, promote Buddhist values for inner peace and global harmony, preserve and share Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage, and foster unity through volunteerism and cross-cultural exchange.

SIBCC is led by a dedicated team of professionals and spiritual leaders, including our President, Ven. Dr. Delthara Senananda, and Secretary, Ven. Delthara Gnanananda. Learn more on our About Us page.
